Own a piece of Fender history. This ad was the cornerstone of a national campaign for over a year. It ran as a full page ad in 17 National publications including Guitar Player, Hit Parader, Song Hits, in addition to all other major music publications at the time. It was also converted to large posters for the entrance to the 1971 NAMM show in Chicago.
The ad features Paul Floodman playing a Mosrite guitar with a Fender amp and accessories. The concept was created by Wenger-Michael Ad Agency, Dave Gupton (Director of Marketing) and Paul Floodman (Head of Field of Research). Floodman was one of only three playing musicians on the executive staff who posed for the ad for $1.
